On July 24, 2025, Hulk Hogan d**d of cardiac arrest at his Clearwater, Florida home. He was 71. Brooke learned of his death that morning when her brother Nick informed her husband, Steven Oleksy, via text.
A Fractured Relationship
Brooke and Hulk had been distant for years, stemming from deep personal issues and emotional wounds. Their final phone call occurred in early September 2023, just two weeks before Hulk married Sky Daily.
During that call, Brooke expressed love and concern, urging her father to prioritize his health. While Hulk didn’t follow her advice, he offered a vague apology. Though he didn’t elaborate, the gesture held meaning for Brooke.
Missed Connections
Brooke chose not to attend Hulk’s wedding. Still, her husband Steven tried to help mend the family rift—especially after Brooke’s traumatic childbirth. Despite these efforts, Hulk never met his grandchildren. A source revealed he wanted reconciliation—but only on his terms.
Even so, Brooke takes comfort knowing she said “I love you” during that last call. She believes she did all she could to support and protect her father, even from a distance.

“I have been EXTREMELY verbally and mentally abused since childhood. Sadly, it would frequently turn physical,” she wrote.

Despite all this, Brooke said she still feels love for her parents. However, she emphasized the need to protect her peace. In September 2023, she addressed her absence at Hulk’s wedding, stating:
“For my own journey to healing and happiness, I have chosen to create some distance between myself and my family.”

On January 15, 2025, Brooke gave birth to twins—Oliver Andrew and Molly Gene Oleksy. Days later, she announced their arrival with joy and gratitude, saying, “Our hearts have been made whole by the arrival of these two sweet souls we get to love. God is good.”
She now focuses on her children, her marriage, and building a healthy, peaceful life. Though scars remain, Brooke is determined to heal and move forward.
