Twelve years ago, Ilya Zhirnov and Kira Cherkasova, two young women, ages twenty-five and twenty-two, respectively, disappeared from the city of Cheboksary in central Russia.Nobody knew what had happened to them until the amateur diver found their car at the bottom of the river.Nearby car dealershipsAccording to the police, the vehicle had been underwater for over a decade.

Using identity documents that had survived the underwater submersion, the police were able to identify the two individuals who had gone missing. Inside the car, the diver discovered two bodies along with the personal belongings of the youths.

According to the initial theory put forth by the police, the two lost control of their vehicle on the icy road and found themselves in the river without anyone noticing or informing the authorities of the incident.

However, many people want to know how long it will take the police to determine the two individuals’ true fate.
