Despite Musk’s massive contributions, Dane County Circuit Court Judge Susan Crawford, the Democratic-backed candidate, won on April 1. This victory shifted the state’s Supreme Court to a 4-3 liberal majority. The result also provided insight into Donald Trump’s popularity and political influence.
