A beloved figure from television’s golden years has passed away at the age of 98, leaving behind a legacy that spans decades of classic performances. From westerns to suspense anthologies, her versatility shone through in appearances on The Twilight Zone, Gunsmoke, and Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

In the late 1970s, she charmed audiences as the sharp and efficient Mrs. Nottingham in The Paper Chase, where she brought depth and intelligence to a supporting role that resonated with viewers.
