Ladd finally found lasting love with businessman and author Robert Charles Hunter. The couple met in Sedona, Arizona, and married on Valentine’s Day 1999 in a star-studded ceremony officiated by Della Reese. Hunter, a retired CEO of PepsiCo Food Systems, co-founded Exxcell Entertainment with Ladd and even acted alongside her in David Lynch’s Inland Empire.
Their partnership, spanning more than two decades, brought mutual respect, shared purpose, and deep affection.
