Musk vs. Trump: A Feud Heats Up

Tensions between Elon Musk and Donald Trump have exploded online. As their clash intensifies, many are asking: What will happen to the Tesla Trump recently purchased?

The Fallout Begins

The feud started quietly. Last month, Musk stepped down as co-lead of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

At the time, he described it as a planned departure. On May 21, he posted on X:

“As my scheduled time as a Special Government Employee comes to an end, I would like to thank President @realDonaldTrump for the opportunity to reduce wasteful spending. The @DOGE mission will only grow stronger as it becomes embedded across the government.”

Musk Slams Trump’s Spending Plan

The situation took a turn days later. Musk criticized Trump’s new economic bill, calling it a disappointment that would raise the national deficit by nearly $3 trillion by 2034.

“The massive spending bill increases the budget deficit rather than reducing it,” Musk told CBS. He argued the bill went against DOGE’s mission.

Musk Drops a Bombshell

On June 5, Musk escalated the feud further. He posted on X:

“Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”

Trump Fires Back

Trump didn’t respond to the Epstein claim directly. Instead, he posted on Truth Social, saying Musk didn’t resign—he was pushed.

“Elon was ‘wearing thin’. I asked him to leave. I revoked his EV Mandate, which forced people to buy electric cars no one wanted—he knew this was coming—and he went CRAZY!”

Musk Responds

Musk quickly fired back. He reposted Trump’s comment on X, calling it:

“Such an obvious lie. So sad.”
