Caitlyn Jenner, 69, is reportedly feeling broody and considering becoming a mother — this time through surrogacy. According to Closer magazine, Jenner has shared her desire to experience motherhood in a way she never has before.
A Growing Bond With Sophia Hutchens
Jenner is in a close relationship with 22-year-old Sophia Hutchens, who is also transgender. Although they’ve never officially confirmed their romance, the pair have been inseparable since 2017, and their bond continues to grow stronger.
Despite already having ten children — six biological and four stepchildren — and 14 grandchildren, Caitlyn is still yearning for a different kind of parenting role.
“Caitlyn and Sophia have spoken about starting a family together for the last year,” a source told Closer.
“Caitlyn has always dreamed of raising a child as a mother.”
Shared Dreams and Surrogacy Plans
Sophia reportedly shares Caitlyn’s desire to become a parent, which led the couple to explore surrogacy. The insider claims they’re now actively considering the option to bring their shared dream to life.

Family Tensions and Mixed Reactions
Caitlyn’s parenting plans haven’t been welcomed by everyone. Her daughters reportedly met the idea with skepticism, feeling Sophia — who is nearly 50 years younger — may be influencing the decision.
Meanwhile, Caitlyn’s relationships with ex-wife Kris Jenner and stepdaughters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian have long been strained — especially after the release of her memoir The Secrets of My Life. However, Khloe recently confirmed that some bridges have been rebuilt, even calling Sophia “really sweet.”
Kim Offers Support and Advice
Despite the overall family tension, Kim Kardashian has shown support. Having used a surrogate herself for her youngest children, Chicago and Psalm, Kim reportedly offered Caitlyn guidance on the process.
“Kim has been incredibly helpful,” the source said.
“She’s the only one in the Kardashian-Jenner clan backing Caitlyn’s surrogacy plans.”
