A 55 year old woman claiming to be President Donald Trump’s secret daughter has taken legal action in a move that has drawn wide attention. She filed a paternity lawsuit, saying she believes Trump is her biological father and that the truth has been hidden for decades.

The woman says she has lived most of her life unaware of her real origins. She now wants a DNA test to confirm who her father is, saying the issue has weighed on her for years and that she is no longer willing to stay silent.

Donald Trump is publicly known to have five children and eight grandchildren. His family has often been in the spotlight, with several of his children involved in business or public life, and his youngest son, Barron drawing attention during the 2024 election campaign.

Trump has spoken openly about Barron’s role in encouraging him to appear on podcasts aimed at younger voters. In an interview, his older son Eric said: “He (Barron) was certainly the one that suggested he (Trump) go on some of the very young podcasts. My father did incredibly well with youth vote.”

Trump has been married three times. He married Ivana Trump and had three children, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump. He later married Marla Maples, and they welcomed his daughter Tiffany, before marrying Melania Trump in 2005.

The woman bringing the claim is Necla Ozmen, who lives in Ankara, Turkey. Court documents state she was born in 1970 and is legally registered as the daughter of Sati and Dursun Ozmen, the couple who raised her.

Ozmen claims she later learned she had been adopted. She says that in 2017, the woman who raised her told her the truth, explaining that a baby swap took place at a hospital in Turkey around the time of her birth.

According to Ozmen, her adoptive mother gave birth to a stillborn baby, and another woman in the hospital, an American named Sophia, handed over her newborn instead. Ozmen alleges the child was given up because it resulted from a forbidden relationship with Trump.

She has asked for a paternity test and says she wants to speak with the President. Speaking to the local press, she said: “I don’t want to cause him any trouble. I just want to know the truth.”

She added: “I just want to know whether he is my father. I would like him to speak with me. I can prove through a DNA test that he is my father, if he agrees.” She also said: “I believe he is a good father. I believe he will not turn me away either.”

The court reportedly rejected her initial lawsuit, citing a lack of evidence. Ozmen is now appealing that decision and has also sent petitions to courts in the United States as she continues to pursue the case.
