A Normal Purchase Turned Strange

Yesterday, I grabbed a pack of ordinary sausages from the grocery store. Nothing fancy — just something quick for sandwiches. When I got home, I sliced a few pieces, ate some, and stored the rest in the fridge. Everything seemed perfectly normal.

The Unexpected Discovery

The next morning, I decided to cook the same sausage for breakfast. But as soon as my knife cut through it, I felt resistance — something solid inside. I thought maybe it had frozen overnight, but when I tried slicing again, the blade stopped a second time.

Curious, I looked closer. A faint metallic glint shone from the center. My heart skipped a beat.

Not Metal — Something Worse

At first, I assumed it was just a small piece of metal or plastic from the factory. But when I carefully pulled it out, I froze. It wasn’t packaging material — it was a flash drive.

A real USB stick.
Covered in bits of sausage.

My stomach churned. I had already eaten from that same package. How could a flash drive possibly end up sealed inside a sausage?

Curiosity Took Over

Disgust slowly gave way to curiosity. Against my better judgment, I plugged the flash drive into my computer. There was only one folder labeled “OPEN ME.”

Inside was a single image — a man staring straight into the camera, laughing.

I dropped the mouse. My hands went cold. Who would hide a flash drive like that in food? And why that photo?

A Chilling Choice

Maybe it was a sick prank. Maybe something worse. I still don’t know.

Now I’m torn — do I call the police or just throw the whole thing away and try to forget it ever happened?

One thing’s certain: I’ll never look at store-bought sausage the same way again.
