The post was accompanied by a cheerful caption that read, “Playing Wheel of Fortune on stage is a whole different ball game than playing at home, but Will was a great sport about his missolve!”
After the show, Jordan spoke with Wheel of Fortune social correspondent Maggie Sajak and admitted that being on the iconic stage was a much different experience than what he was used to. “When the lights are on and, you know, the stars and Ryan Seacrest, Vanna White… I just went blank,” Jordan confessed. It’s no surprise – the pressure of the spotlight can get to anyone!
However, the contestant kept his sense of humor intact, joking about the blunder. “But if your dad, Pat Sajak, in retirement is watching the show, maybe cracks a beer and gets a laugh, it was worth it,” Jordan said, mentioning the former Wheel of Fortune host. He further said with a grin, “I’m sure I’m gonna have sausages in my locker and police car when I get back so we’ll try to have some fun with it.”
