Celebrities Join a Powerful Movement
A bold campaign by Australian non-profit YGAP is making waves on social media. It features male celebrities proudly displaying a single painted fingernail to spark conversation and drive change.
Why One Nail?
While women are welcome to support the cause, the campaign targets men for a heartbreaking reason:
Men commit 90% of all child se.xual assa.ults. The movement aims to raise awareness and funding to combat this statistic.
“Nail It to End It”
The campaign’s motto, “Nail it to end it,” sums up its mission. Each painted nail represents a stand against vio.lence. Hashtags like #PolishedMan and #nailedit are trending across platforms.

Star Power Lends a Hand
Big names such as Zac Efron, Chris Hemsworth, and Michael Klim have joined the cause. They’ve posted photos proudly showing off their polished nails, helping the message spread even further.
Over Half a Million Raised
So far, the Polished Man initiative has received more than $513,000 in donations from over 61,000 supporters.
Businesses Step Up Too
Large companies have pitched in as well, offering funds and resources. Their contributions support trauma recovery and prevention programs for children affected by vio.lence.
Last Chance to Join
The campaign runs through October 15, so there’s still time to paint a nail, donate, and make a difference.
