Watch disrespectful crowd get taught a lesson by guard at Arlington Cemetery (VIDEO)

America is one of the few countries that goes all out in honoring all the servicemen that have made the ultimate sacrifice and given their own lives. Every year, they are honored in many ways. All those who have lost a loved one in the line of duty will be able to relate to this feeling.

In my case, my oldest brother served in the Army for almost 24 years. He was honorably discharged and retired to be with his family. He was deployed to Iraq 3 times and spent time in bases in Germany and South Korea. He got into the Army for many reasons; the most important one was that he wanted to serve his country in any way he could.

In his time in the Army, he made many friends and lost a few of them as well. He spent many years with the same team and grew quite close to many of them. There was this one friend named Gary. He and my brother had the same position. They oversaw some warehouses that would take supplies to soldiers in the battlefront.

One day, my brother could not go to take the supplies because his commanding officer had sent him to do an inventory of some weapons. Gary went instead but unfortunately did not make it back. This was a severe blow to my brother. They were like brothers he said, and even though Gary was not married, nor he had any kids, he became very close to Gary’s parents as well.

My brother visits Gary’s gravesite often, and he has made it a point to teach his children the importance of respect for all the fallen ones that are not with us anymore. Because his children have always seen my brother properly paying respects, they had always behaved very well during ceremonies, even since way back when they were little children.

Even though most people who attend ceremonies are respectful, there are always people like the ones in the next video.

The soldier standing guard does something that leaves everyone speechless! One of the highest honors any serviceman can do is guard the tomb of the unknown soldier.

In the U.S., paying tribute to the brave men and women who have given everything for their country is a tradition that runs deep. Every year, we take a moment to honor these heroes in various ceremonies and gestures of respect, reminding us of their service and the freedoms they fought for. For families who’ve lost loved ones while serving, this recognition hits home in a profound way.

This whole idea of service and sacrifice really resonates with me personally. My oldest brother spent almost 24 years serving in the Army. After a long and impressive career, which took him to Iraq and had him stationed in Germany and South Korea, he decided to retire and spend more time with his family. He decided to join the Army because he wanted to serve his country however he could, and he felt a lot of pride in what he did.

While serving in the Army, he built lasting friendships with many of his comrades, but he also faced the pain of losing some of them. One of those friends was Gary, who held the same role as my brother. They worked together to run warehouses that kept soldiers on the frontlines supplied. Their bond was like that of brothers, built on shared duties and a deep respect for one another.

So, there was this one day when my brother had to do an inventory of weapons, and he totally couldn’t get the supplies out to the battlefield. So, Gary went to his spot, but sadly, he didn’t come back. My brother took a hard hit with the loss of his dear friend. Even though Gary didn’t have a wife or kids, my brother really connected with Gary’s parents, keeping that bond alive to remember him well.

Since then, my brother has really focused on honoring Gary and the others we’ve lost. He often stops by Gary’s gravesite and has taught his kids the value of honoring and remembering those who have passed on. This respect has turned into a family tradition, with his kids, even when they were little, showing a lot of reverence during memorial ceremonies. Their actions really show the values their dad has passed down to them.

But, you know, not everyone at these ceremonies shows the same kind of respect. The disrespect shown by people in the video really stands out against the seriousness these events deserve. Still, those moments of deep respect, like what you see in this video, really hit home about how serious these times are.

Guarding the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is one of the biggest honors a serviceman can have. It stands as a powerful symbol of our nation’s gratitude for those who made sacrifices without ever being identified. The soldier in the video does something that totally blows everyone away, showing the kind of dignity and respect these ceremonies really deserve.

This tale, similar to what the soldier did, really highlights how crucial it is to remember and pay tribute to those who gave their all for their nation. It’s a legacy of respect and gratitude that we really need to hold onto for future generations.
