Valerie Bertinelli posts update about 34-year-old son Wolfgang, leaving fans amazed

A Touching Update from Home

On July 6, Valerie Bertinelli shared a sweet update while away from home. Her son, Wolfgang Van Halen, and his wife, Andraia Allsop, sent photos and a video of them caring for her beloved cats. Valerie posted the touching content to Instagram, instantly capturing fans’ attention.

She captioned the third slide—a video of her cat enthusiastically enjoying a treat—with humor:

“Turn sound up for Bubba’s song of love for @inaba_churu 😻.”

Fans Spot the Resemblance

In the first photo, Wolfgang and a black cat gaze calmly at the camera. Valerie’s caption read,

“My two favorite boys 🤫.”

The second slide showed Wolfgang gently cradling a white cat outside. Valerie noted,

“Henry’s little moof just kills me 😹.”

A Son’s Lasting Tribute

Wolfgang often honors his father on social media. On Father’s Day 2025, he shared a home video from 1994, capturing a joyful moment with his dad and their dog. The caption read:

“Happy Father’s Day, Pop. Missing you today and every other day.”

Another shared memory showed young Wolfgang laughing in his father’s lap, with Valerie beside them, all beaming with joy.

A Close Mother-Son Bond

That close connection endures. Valerie, with her trademark humor, admits Wolfgang still finds her embarrassing—just like in his teenage years.

“When the eye-rolling stops, I’m not doing my job,” she joked.

She proudly accompanied him to the 2024 Oscars, where he performed. Starstruck by the crowd, she couldn’t help gushing aloud. Wolfgang repeatedly reminded her to use her “inside voice.”

A Loving Mother-in-Law

Valerie adores Wolfgang’s wife, Andraia.

“They’re meant to be together. I adore her,” she shared.

Asked about becoming a grandmother, Valerie said she’d love that—someday. Still, she’s not pressuring her son and daughter-in-law. She’s content just knowing her son turned out to be a kind, grounded man.

Embracing Her Glow-Up Era

Valerie isn’t just a proud mom—she’s thriving herself. On April 30, 2025, she stunned fans by sharing bikini photos and a video of herself taking a cold plunge in her backyard pool.

Wrapped in a striped towel by a sunset-lit infinity pool, she then revealed a fiery red bikini, confidently smiling as she struck playful poses.

Her caption was refreshingly honest:

“My pool is 66°. Along with everything else I’ve been experimenting with, this has helped improve my mood and reduce inflammation.”

In the accompanying video, she dove into the chilly water and swam toward the camera, radiating joy.

Living Life Authentically

Whether she’s sharing tender family moments, poking fun at herself, or embracing bold wellness challenges, Valerie Bertinelli continues to inspire. Her warmth, openness, and humor keep fans coming back for more.
