V1ctim K1lled in Antioch High School Sh00ting Identified by Police – Details

Josselin Corea Escalante, 16, was killed in a tragic shooting at Antioch High School on January 22, 2025, and two others were injured. Escalante, a cherished daughter and intelligent student, was known for her generosity and passion for soccer. Solomon Henderson, a 17-year-old shooter, started shooting in the cafeteria before killing himself. Authorities are looking into his motivations, including his use of social media.

School officials commended staff for adhering to emergency protocols, and Metro Nashville Police commended school resource officers for their prompt actions. While counseling will be available, Antioch High will remain closed during the grieving process. Escalante was honored at a vigil while her family demanded increased school security. The community grieves and looks for solace.
