Unlocking the Mystery of These Shoes

InnoMake Shoes: Innovation at Your Feet

At first glance, InnoMake shoes look like any stylish sneakers. But inside the toe lies a groundbreaking innovation: a tiny ultrasonic sensor that helps visually impaired people navigate safely and independently. Developed by Tec-Innovation in Austria with Graz University of Technology, the shoes detect obstacles up to 13 feet away.

Real-Time Guidance with Every Step

When users approach a wall, staircase, or moving vehicle, the shoes send gentle vibrations or sound alerts. This real-time feedback guides them safely, often described as a “parking sensor for people.” For convenience, customers can buy a full pair or attach the waterproof sensor to their own shoes.

Designed with Empathy

The concept was co-created by Markus Raffer, who is visually impaired himself. His personal experience shaped a design that combines cutting-edge technology with empathy. The result empowers thousands to move confidently and independently.

The Future of Smart Footwear

Tec-Innovation continues to innovate. By integrating AI and camera-based recognition, they aim to create a “foot-level street view” that maps surroundings in real time. This advancement makes walking safer, smarter, and more intuitive.

More Than Just Shoes

InnoMake shoes are more than footwear—they represent hope, inclusion, and freedom. By merging technology with human-centered design, these smart shoes transform everyday life. Every step becomes safer, more confident, and full of possibility.
