Trump Gets Clean Bill of Health
President Donald Trump has passed his first official physical of his second term with flying colors — and the results are turning heads.
On Friday, April 11, the 78-year-old president visited Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He spent several hours undergoing a thorough medical evaluation before heading to his Mar-a-Lago resort for the weekend.
Detailed Report Released
On Sunday, April 13, the White House released the results in a memo from Dr. Sean Barbabella, Trump’s physician. The report detailed Trump’s medications, weight loss, and overall fitness to serve.
According to Dr. Barbabella, Trump currently takes two medications — Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe — to maintain healthy cholesterol levels. He also uses a daily low-dose aspirin for heart protection and applies Mometasone cream as needed for a minor skin condition.
Weight Loss and Fitness
Standing at 6-foot-3, Trump now weighs 224 pounds — a 20-pound drop from his 2020 weight of 244 pounds. This weight loss reflects his commitment to a healthier lifestyle.
Dr. Barbabella praised Trump’s physical condition, confirming he is “fully fit” to perform his presidential duties. Trump’s active daily routine, packed with meetings, public appearances, and regular golf games, plays a key role in keeping him strong.
Medical Procedures and Updates
The memo also revealed Trump underwent cataract surgery on both eyes at an unspecified date. Additionally, a July 2024 routine colonoscopy found a benign polyp and minor diverticulosis — both common in older adults.
Importantly, all of Trump’s vaccinations, including those for international travel, are up to date.
