These dads started a dance group to spread positivity & took over TikTok

A bunch of fathers became famous worldwide when they chose to astonish their children with a dance performance at a recital. Nowadays, these well-known dads are TikTok sensations and are known as The Outta Puff Daddys.

The fathers initially met when they brought their children to dance lessons. From that point on, they developed a friendship and began making enjoyable dance routines. Originally, they planned to perform just one routine at a recital, but the audience’s response was so encouraging that they chose to keep performing.

When talking about their initial dance performance, Paul “Jukebox” Jukes, the leader of the group, mentioned that they “completely blew the roof off.”

He told Good News Network in 2023 that the noise was incredible, and naturally, the children in the crowd were saying, “Wait a minute, that’s your dad!”

Today, there are now approximately 50 members who have joined. These fathers, aged between 40 and 60, utilize their dancing skills to challenge societal norms and misconceptions surrounding mental well-being.

They amassed a large following on social media and also went on tour with their shows.

According to their website, our connection is a genuine support for our mental well-being. They challenge the stereotypes associated with traditional masculinity and inspire others to openly discuss their mental health.

Their performances are filled with a message of happiness and optimism, which they share wherever they go. Along their path, they inspire their fans to embrace healthier ways of taking care of their mental well-being.

Paul discovered the importance of having a support system when dealing with depression, and he found exactly that in The Outta Puff Daddys.

“I believe everyone should be constantly underpinning and supporting their mental health— as we all do with our physical health,” Paul said. “So that when those moments arise, we immediately have strategies in place,” he added.
