A Distress Call
An elderly woman in Florida urgently called 911 to report a break-in. She was hysterical as she spoke to the dispatcher.
The Reported Theft
“They’ve stolen the stereo, the steering wheel, the brake pedal, and even the accelerator!” she exclaimed in distress.
Dispatcher’s Response
The dispatcher quickly reassured her, saying, “Stay calm. An officer is on the way.”
The Unexpected Twist
A few minutes later, the officer radioed in. “Disregard,” he said, revealing the twist. “She got in the back seat by mistake.”
