Newly uncovered messages, released by House Democrats, hint at deeper ties between the disgraced financier and the former president. Now, Epstein’s brother, Mark, is speaking publicly for the first time.

Cryptic Emails Raise Eyebrows
In a brief interview with Newsweek, Mark Epstein said he wouldn’t be surprised if more damaging messages involving Trump exist, though he did not confirm anything. He declined to comment on journalist Michael Wolff’s analysis, stating he had “no opinion.”
The key email, dated April 2, 2011, refers to Trump as “the dog that hasn’t barked.” Epstein also claims that an unnamed victim spent “hours at my house with him.” These messages came weeks after the British press began exposing Epstein’s secretive world of elite names and scandal.
The April 2011 email was part of a massive trove of over 23,000 documents recently submitted to House Democrats by the Epstein Estate. While victim information was redacted, the implications remain alarming.

Strategic Calculations
Other emails add further intrigue. In December 2015, as Trump’s presidential campaign gained momentum, Michael Wolff warned Epstein that CNN might question Trump about him. Epstein asked how to respond.
Wolff advised, “Let him hang himself… If he says he hasn’t been on the plane or to the house, that gives you PR and political currency.” He suggested that if Trump looked likely to win, Epstein could “save him, generating a debt.”
Alleged Knowledge of Victims
A January 2019 email, sent while Trump was in the White House, may be the most concerning. Epstein wrote:
“Donald said he asked me to resign, never a member ever. Of course he knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop.”
Though context remains unclear, the snippets have reignited scrutiny, and Mark Epstein’s cautious words suggest more revelations could emerge.
Trump Fires Back
Trump quickly addressed the matter—but avoided discussing the content. On Truth Social, he accused Democrats of using the Epstein emails to distract from a government shutdown.
At a November 12, 2025 press conference, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters,
“These emails prove absolutely nothing other than that President Trump did nothing wrong. He was from Palm Beach, and so was Jeffrey Epstein.”
She reiterated that Epstein had once been a Mar-a-Lago member but was personally removed by Trump because Epstein was “a pedophile and a creep.”
More Questions Loom
With each new document, the scandal grows rather than fades. Observers continue to wonder what else might be buried among the 23,000 records. And if Mark Epstein’s instincts are correct, more emails could surface soon, keeping the story alive.
