Malcolm-Jamal Warner, who was cherished for his portrayal of Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show, has sadly passed away at the age of 54. Reports indicate that the actor drowned while on vacation in Costa Rica, as stated by the country’s Judicial Investigation Agency.
Authorities reported that Warner was swimming at Playa Grande, located near Cocles Beach in Limón, between 2:00 and 2:30 p.m. local time when a powerful current swept him out to sea. Bystanders managed to bring him back to the shore, and emergency personnel from the Costa Rican Red Cross attempted to resuscitate him. Unfortunately, he was declared dead at the scene.
