Teenager dies after crashing into school bus

Katelyn Ray, a teenager, died in a tragic car accident after her vehicle collided with a South Panola School bus on Highway 15 in Panola County, Mississippi, around 7:15 a.m.

Wednesday. She was on her way to pick up her sister from work.

Her family became worried when she didn’t arrive, and later learned of the accident from the Mississippi Highway Patrol. Katelyn, a recent GED student, had received her driver’s license two months prior.

The Panola County community is mourning her loss as the investigation continues.
