T-G-I-F Takes a Twist: A Comical Elevator Experience

A Misunderstood Elevator Encounter

A businessman stepped into an elevator. Inside, a blonde greeted him cheerfully, saying, “T-G-I-F!”

He smiled back and replied, “S-H-I-T.” Confused, she repeated, “T-G-I-F,” but slower this time. Again, he answered, “S-H-I-T.”

Keeping It Friendly

Trying to remain friendly, the blonde flashed her biggest smile. Sweetly, she said, “T-G-I-F!”

He smiled in return and responded once more, “S-H-I-T.” Frustrated, the blonde decided to clarify.

The Explanation

“‘T-G-I-F’ means ‘Thank God, It’s Friday!’ Do you get it?” she explained, emphasizing her words.

The man replied, “S-H-I-T means ‘Sorry, Honey, It’s Thursday’—duuhhh.”
