Sinbad Never Played A Genie In A Movie And People Can’t Believe It

Thinking back to the 1990s, many of us fondly remember a movie that starred Sinbad who played as a magical genie. That movie, Shazaam was apparently very popular because many people remember watching it and they have fond memories about it.

If you are somebody who remembers that movie, you may want to rethink your ability to remember. After all, it never happened. That’s right, the movie never existed.

Despite the fact that the movie never took place, social media is buzzing with many people who claim to remember the movie. This may make you wonder, how something like this could happen. It is actually a psychological phenomenon known as the ‘Mandela Effect’

This phenomenon will cause you to remember something that never existed. It happens because of a number of false memories come together to confuse you. The Sinbad movie is a perfect example.

Psychology Today reports that the mandella effect is something that occurs when many people remember something and are certain that it happened, even though it never occurred. They may also remember something differently than what actually took place.

The Sinbad movie is a prime example because it was never made but many people remember watching it.

This is more than just a mix-up for some people, it is a part of their childhood memories that is undeniable. Many people remember Sinbad being in a genie costume, getting into comical adventures, and granting wishes. They may even be able to see the VHS cover of the movie on their shelf.

This isn’t something that is random, there are many people who swear they have seen it.

Many people were saying that they refused to believe there wasn’t a movie that starred Sinbad as a genie. Many of them remember watching it, so how could it be nonexistent?

There is a movie in the 90s that was themed around the genie, but it didn’t star Sinbad, it starts Shaquille O’Neal. That doesn’t mean that the Mandela effect isn’t persistent.

According to experts, there are a number of psychological factors that come into play. The power of suggestion and the tendency of our brain to create a narrative that pulls things together from fragmented information are part of it.

Another expert said: “With the Mandela Effect, people are often remembering things the way they think they should be rather than they actually are — because we just process things very quickly in everyday life.”

Of course, being a comedian, Sinbad could not help but play along with this. He even joked about the nonexistent movie on social media, and made a video to fool people.
