Simone Biles’ Parents Who Took Her from Foster Care Aren’t Fans of Her ‘LA House’ in Houston

Simone Biles, a four-time Olympic gold medalist, faced mental health challenges during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Her return at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games has cemented her legendary status. Biles won gold in the gymnastics women’s final, making her the most decorated American gymnast with eight Olympic medals and 30 World Championship medals. Despite a calf injury, Biles showcased her extraordinary talent, further solidifying her reputation.

Biles and her teammates celebrated their victory with a giant American flag. At the post-medal press conference, she expressed their pride, stating, “We’re honored to represent the U.S. every time we get on a world’s stage, but accomplishing that gold and that goal was just an amazing feeling.” The team was motivated to prove themselves after Biles withdrew from the Tokyo Olympics due to her mental health.

After prioritizing her mental health, Biles focused on her personal life, marrying NFL player Jonathan Owens in 2023. They had two wedding ceremonies, one in the U.S. and one in Cabo San Lucas. Biles has been open about her struggles and triumphs, highlighting the importance of mental health.

Biles had a challenging childhood, including time in foster care. Her grandparents adopted her, and her love for gymnastics began on a field trip. Her talent was evident from the start, and her parents fully supported her passion.

Biles and Owens live in a modern Houston home, though they are building a new house together. Despite differing tastes, Biles confidently asserts, “But it’s not your house, it’s mine.” They continue to live in Houston, where Biles trains at her parents’ gym, the World Champions Centre. At 26, she remains a dominant force in gymnastics
