The number of famous people has really increased in recent years. This is due to the talent shows that give individuals the opportunity to show what special abilities they have to a worldwide audience.

Along with all of the guests who make their way to the talent shows, we also have the judges who sit in the chair and are regular parts of the program. One of the judges that is best known of all of them is Simon Cowell.

Simon Cowell is more than just a TV star, he has an empire that is built around his name. He’s a British producer and along with all that he does to be in the public eye, he also manages to have a family, including a son.

One of the reasons why Simon Cowell is so well known for his abilities as a talent show judge is because of his brute honesty. Sometimes, he goes a little bit too far in many people’s estimation, going from honest to rude very quickly.

In a way, that has become his trademark and it has earned him many millions of dollars over the years, just to keep him sitting in that chair.

Simon Cowell got his start in a rather unusual way. He was hired by his father as an assistant at EMI Records, but he first dropped out of school. He had to find new talent and develop artists as part of his job.

He eventually was able to begin two labels of his own, although they weren’t very successful. Eventually, he moved home with his parents but, rather than being a failure, he felt it was a relief.

“Everything went – my house, my Porsche, all the things I thought were important,” he explained. “I had nice food every night at home. I was quite happy, really.”

He continued on with his work with various record labels but eventually, moved on to judge talent shows. That is where he truly became famous.

“My talent is for creating things the public will like,” he explained. “I’m interested only in making money, for myself, and the people I work for. I mean, that’s absolutely the only criterion I attach.”

The first program where he really got a start was Pop Idle in the early 2000’s. It was a hit and he became a big celebrity immediately after the show got its start.

People began to recognize him and his trademark appearance with a tight T-shirt. He was also known for starting his judgments with “I don’t mean to be rude, but.”

Kelly Clarkson won the first season and more than 26 million people watched the show. Suddenly, he realized just how much money there was to be made.

He moved on to the American Idol show and continued to judge on other shows, including America’s Got Talent and X Factor. He made millions of dollars on the shows over the years. It wasn’t just the appearances, it was all of the merchandise that went along with it.

In one particular year, he made a reported $36 million. He was the judge on The X Factor and executive producer on Britain’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent.

That was in 2008, when he made $36 million, and in 2017, it was reported that he earned $45 million. In 2020, more than $50 million was earned. It is estimated he made more than $600 million over the years.

Some of his money goes toward various charitable organizations, but he also is living a very good life in his Malibu mansion and making changes to to his appearance, including having Botox.

In 2014, he also had a child with his girlfriend, Laura Silverman. He thought that meeting Lauren was a great part of his life and having his son, Eric, really made a difference.

They are now living the best life they can possibly live, even though Simon has had problems with his health. This included falling down the stairs in 2017 due to low blood pressure.

He also had to change his diet after that fall, and take out many things he was eating, including red meat, gluten, sugar, and dairy.

Things have not always been perfect for him, but he has done quite well overall. We wish him many more years of happiness with his family and success in his career.
