Sharon Stone Reveals Surprise Date with Nelly
Sharon Stone stunned fans by revealing she once went on a date with rapper Nelly. The 67-year-old Golden Globe winner dropped the bombshell during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Quick-Fire Questions Turn Personal
Stone joined co-star Bob Odenkirk to answer rapid-fire questions about their lives. When asked about dating Nelly, Cohen guessed the answer before she spoke. “I mean, this is crazy enough that I actually might believe it,” he said.
Odenkirk chimed in, “I’m going to say yeah.” After a long pause, Stone confirmed, “Yes, I did,” prompting gasps from the audience. Cohen then asked if there had been a second date, and Stone shook her head. “No, I did not,” she said.
A History of High-Profile Romances
Stone’s romantic life has seen its share of ups and downs. She first married TV producer Michael Greenburg in 1984, divorcing in 1990. She later dated William J. MacDonald, who left his wife for her, but they split in 1994. That same year, she got engaged to assistant director Bob Wagner, though the relationship ended.
In 1998, Stone married Phil Bronstein. Tragically, she experienced multiple miscarriages and was unable to conceive naturally due to autoimmune disease and endometriosis. The couple adopted a son, Roan, in 2000 before separating in 2003. Stone later adopted two more sons, Laird in 2005 and Quinn in 2006.
Love Life Today
Now a mom-of-three, Stone is reportedly single. In January, she admitted finding love hasn’t been easy. Speaking to The Times, she recalled difficult dates, including one with a “h*roin addict” and another where she felt like a therapist.
Still, Stone hasn’t given up. She recently joined Tinder, saying, “This is the year that I want to fall in love — 100 percent.”
What About Nelly?
As for Nelly, the musician married rapper Ashanti in 2023. They share a 13-month-old son, Kareen. Nelly also has four other children: daughter Chanelle, 31, and son Cornell, 26, with ex Channetta Valentines, and adopted son Shawn, 27, and daughter Sydney, 19, from his sister Jackie Donahue, who d**d of leukemia in 2005.
