Reddit Reacts To Entitled Daughter Who Thinks Dying Father Is Wasting ‘Her’ Money

A word of the wise: entitlement gets you nowhere. Don’t go around expecting the world to bend for you, especially if you aren’t willing to put in work or even have a little gratitude.

A woman recently went on a tirade about how her dying father is choosing to spend his money. She felt that she was entitled to that money, which would be her inheritance, and doesn’t want him “wasting” it all before he passes. Naturally, that level of entitlement made its way onto Reddit , where a screenshot of the woman’s complaints was reposted by user dustinjbailey to the I Am A POS Sub . Commenters had a lot to say, and none of it was good.

The woman posted that her dad found out he has a few years to live after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. He recently sold his company for $4 million. Now, he’s doing the things he wants to do, like get a college degree and go on cruise vacations.

The daughter feels angered by this, thinking he’s just wasting his money. She believes that spending money on a degree is useless since he won’t live for very long. She also feels that too many unnecessary vacations will take away from her inheritance. As the man’s daughter, she feels entitled to the money.

The screenshot of the Facebook post also contains several comments left by people admonishing the woman. They believe the father is right to use his money to enjoy what little time he has left. The commenters are appalled by the woman’s selfish attitude.

Many commenters have unfortunately lost their own parents in the past. While they got some inheritance money as a result, they would gladly trade it to see their late parents again. The daughter in this post has absolutely no heart or shame.

Commenters Even Hoped She’d Be Left Out Of The Will.

Most parents would love to give their children inheritance money if they could. But some kids simply don’t deserve that kind of care. Users hoped the dad would have the sense to leave this daughter out of his will.

Getting a degree is incredibly expensive in the United States, but not $4 million expensive. Even if he took months worth of cruises and got his degree, there’d still be a lot of that money left for his loved ones.

Though, based on the daughter’s post, she doesn’t deserve a cent.
