Prince William Plans to Remove Meghan Markle’s Royal Title Upon Taking the Throne

Back in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down and working members of the royal family. At the time, Queen Elizabeth did not take away their titles of Her Royal Highness and His Royal Highness, but they were not to use the titles publicly since they were no longer working as members of the royal family.

Fast forward five years, and now there’s controversy over Meghan signing a gift with “HRH” which stands for Her Royal Highness. The gift was a private gift between friends of her some jam from her As Ever brand. Since it was done in private, the thought is that she did not break any rules.

The problem is that her private gift ended up gaining public attention. According to Page Six, the person Markle gave the gift to, host Jamie Kern Lima, showed the gift and the card on her podcast.

Now, multiple royal insiders claim that Prince William is furious and wants to officially take away the HRH title from Markle when he becomes king.

One insider said, “Charles might be happy to put up with this, but William won’t.” The insider added, “He loathes and despises Harry and Meghan with every bone in his body, he believes they have betrayed everything the family stands for and the idea that they are using their royal status as a calling card will enrage him.”

Meanwhile, a friend of Prince William explained, “Charles has completely lost control.” The friend also claimed that Harry and Meghan “every intention of making his final years a misery.”

The friend thinks the timing says a lot. “Meghan using her HRH exposes how weak and enfeebled he is. She knows he won’t do anything. There is no way King William will stand for this. The titles will simply be removed when he is king. A way will be found.”

In the video below, you can hear the ladies of “The View” discuss Meghan’s use of HRH and whether or not she should be allowed to use it.
