Pink Reveals She’s Fighting An E Coli Infection

Imagine going on vacation and ending up sick. That’s the risk we all take just living our lives, and being a famous singer doesn’t make you an exception.

Pink, whose real name is Alecia Moore, recently shared the state of her life at the moment, and how she was trying to make the best of a bad situation.

The singer shared a photo on Instagram where she wrote, “This is all normal and everything is going really well.” Then, in smaller font, lower on the picture, she explained what we happening. She shared, “When you go on vacation and have food and E Coli decides to move into your gut you kill it with friends and daughters and red wine and a vitamin Iv concoction.

In the image, Pink is seem relaxing with her feet up on a couch while sipping red wine, talking with friends and being hooked up to an IV.

In the caption of the post, she wrote, “Ahhh life and lemons and lemonade and great memories that I might remember.”

In the comments, many of her fans wished her well. One person wrote, “Way to turn a bad situation into a great memory! Sending some healing mojo your way!”

Another person wrote, “And that’s how you beat e coli.”

One comment reads, “Get well soon! Wine and family abd friends are the best medicine.”

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), E coli, which is short for Escherichia coli, is bacteria that can be found in food, water and the environment. In some cases, it’s harmless, but in others, it can make you sick with symptoms that include urinary tract infections, diarrhea, pneumonia, sepsis, as well as other illnesses.

People are more at risk of an E coli infection when they are very young (under 5), older than 65, traveling internationally, or have a weakened immune system.
