In fun news that came out in the early evening on Monday, January 27, First Lady Melania Trump released her new, official White House Portrait picture for Trump’s second term. This isn’t the painting all presidents do, but an official photograph portrait showing her.
This new one shows Melania in a dark pantsuit and white shirt, curly hair falling down her back on her right side and dropping well past her shoulder on her left. Her hands support her on top of a conference table so polished the dark wood shows her reflection, and in the background the Washington Monument rises prominently over her right shoulder.
Her face is what really does it. With all that aura of polished manners and environment surrounding her, she looks straight ahead at the camera in what, given the nature of the photograph, becomes an unblinking, straight-ahead gaze that’s quite powerful and captures her arua and intensity well. Commenters on X (formerly Twitter) loved the official portrait photo. For example, responding to the First Lady’s X account, which posted it, commenters left messages like, “MOST GORGEOUS FIRST LADY IN HISTORY!!! We love you!!,” “Beautiful as ever! 
,” and “The most beautiful FLOTUS ever!!!”
Others said things like, “Beautiful portrait of our wonderful First Lady. She is a true icon and a great representative of America, We are lucky to have her back in the White House,” “Stunning! Absolutely iconic,” and “Simply BEAUTIFUL- and captures the elegance, professionalism, and grace of our @FLOTUS @MELANIATRUMP !”
Also commenting on the portrait was Evie Magazine’s founder Brittany Hugoboom, who posted the official portrait on X, and, captioning it, wrote, “The most beautiful First Lady I’ve ever seen. Melania Trump’s official 2025 portrait is absolutely stunning.” Agreeing, a commenter said, “i love it a lot. i think it captures a side of melania that WE never really knew. she’s very smart!”
Raheem Kassam, the editor of the National Pulse, posted about the photo portrait as well. He, adding more details to the background of it, said, “The official portrait of First Lady Melania Trump was captured on January 21, [2025], in the Yellow Oval Room of the residence by esteemed photographer Régine Mahaux.”
Chiming in with yet more details, another poster described what she was wearing and what the background of it was, writing, “Melania never forgets! In 2017, Dolce & Gabbana supported and dressed her for her trip to the Vatican and Italy when all other designers turned their backs on her. Today her official portrait has just been unveiled in a splendid suit by the Italian 
designers Dolce & Gabbana
