Demi Moore had a great night on Sunday night. The actress won her first Golden Globe for her part in The Substance, for which she was nominated.

She won the award for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical. Mikey Madison from “Anora,” Cynthia Erivo from “Wicked,” Karla Sofía Gascón from “Emilia Pérez,” Amy Adams from “Nightbitch,” and Zendaya, the lead singer of “Challengers,” were also up for the award.

As she took the award, the actress gave a moving speech about getting older in Hollywood. Many people on the internet talked about more than just her victory speech.

A video of Moore talking to other people at the award show began going around. The Ghost star walks up to Elle Fanning and talks to her and Monica Barbaro in the video.

Kylie Jenner is sitting behind her and looking at the actor. It is clear that Jenner wants to talk to her, but her body is blocking her.

Demi Moore does not turn around to talk to Kylie, though. She talks to Elle Fanning and hugs her, then goes on and does not pay any attention to Kylie Jenner at all.

She does, however, stop to talk to Jenner’s date and boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet.

People on the internet were angry that Moore did not recognize Jenner. “I could never feel bad for a Kardashian/Jenner,” someone said in response to the video. “Money can buy you a lot of things, but respect ain’t one of them,” said someone else on X.

Some people felt bad for Jenner. Someone wrote, “Ouch, I kinda of feel bad for Kylie. She was smiling, and demi refused to even look at her.”

“Poor Kylie she seems very uncomfortable and it’s sad cause she said hi and everything but Demi just ignored her. Btw Kylie appears to be the nicest of the Kardashian clan tho,” another user sympathized.

But since then, Demi Moore’s daughter Tallulah Willis has spoken out to keep this event from getting too much attention in the media.

She wanted to make it clear that her mom did not mean to “ignore” Jenner.

The 30-year-old actress wrote on her Instagram story, “NIPPING THIS STRAIGHT IN THE BUD – we spent new years with Elle, so connecting with her after a win was a very organic thing to do.”

She gave the events some much-needed background by saying, “This angel was in total shock and delight and moving throughout a warm room of well wishers. There was [no] snub of any sort, had she seen KJ wanting to congratulate her she would have fully given her the time and space.”

“Literally just give it all a break and let a gal enjoy her accomplishments!”

The event was seen by Tallulah and her sisters, Rumer Willis and Scout Willis. Demi Moore and her ex-husband Bruce Willis have three daughters together. They were married from 1987 to 2000.

All three women posted on Instagram about how proud they are of their mother after she won.
