People Disturbed After Seeing How Crab Sticks Are Made And They Never Want To Eat Them Again

Crab sticks are a favoured seafood treat, but have encountered a wave of discontent among loyal consumers who have stumbled upon the startling truth behind their production and it’s all got a little fishy.

Numerous foodies, upon learning the actual ingredients and methods used to make crab sticks, have made a pledge to stay well away from consuming them in the future.

This revelation has left seafood enthusiasts questioning their dietary choices and seeking alternative options for the future.

For years, crab sticks have been a snacking staple for seafood lovers and have tantalised taste buds with their distinct flavour, resembling the tasty essence of crab meat.

However, recent revelations have shocked consumers worldwide, as it has come to light that these popular seafood sticks aren’t as they seem.

The realisation of how the fishy treat is actually created has proved to be a stomach-turning point for numerous consumers.

One person writes: “Watching processed food being made really puts you off.”

Another adds: “Yaaaaa I don’t want anything to do with that lmao.”

Upon seafood lovers discovering the video circulating Reddit, many users expressed their disgust and resolved to eliminate these artificially crafted treats from their diets completely.

Some people are disturbed after finding out how crab sticks are made. 

This is inevitably what led to the disgust amongst seafood lovers upon stumbling across the crabstick video that has ruffled several feathers.

One user has taken to Reddit to post a clip of a crab stick being made and it goes into lengthy detail.

In the footage, it is shared that the primary ingredient of crab sticks is not, in fact, freshly harvested crab meat but rather a blend of other elements expertly moulded to mimic the appearance and taste of crab.

Whilst the exact method of how those who create crab sticks may slightly differ between various manufacturers, the typical ingredients include a combination of white fish, such as Alaskan pollock, starch, flavourings, and additives.

These ingredients are typically used to create the distinctive texture and flavour associated with crabsticks.

The plight of crabstick fans highlights the importance of consumer awareness and the impact it can have on dietary choices.
