Ozzy Osbourne, legendary frontman of Black Sabbath, has d**d in the UK at the age of 76. His family released a statement saying, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love.”

Just weeks before his passing, Ozzy reunited with original Black Sabbath bandmates for a farewell performance in Birmingham. Seated on a throne, he thanked fans, saying, “You’ve no idea how I feel – thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Tributes poured in from across the music world. Sir Elton John called him a “huge trailblazer” and “one of the funniest people I’ve ever met.” Gene Simmons described him as “a giant,” and Ronnie Wood remarked on the poignancy of his final concert. Black Sabbath simply wrote, “Ozzy Forever.”

Ozzy faced years of declining health, including multiple surgeries following a 2003 quad-bike accident and a serious fall in 2019. In 2020, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease but continued to perform and connect with fans.

Born John Michael Osbourne in Birmingham in 1948, Ozzy rose to fame as the “Prince of Darkness” in Black Sabbath before launching a successful solo career. He was inducted into both the UK and US Rock and Roll Halls of Fame and earned five Grammy Awards.

Despite personal struggles, Ozzy remained a beloved icon whose influence shaped generations of rock musicians.
