Less than three months ago, rocker and reality TV star Ozzy Osbourne lost his battle with Parkinson’s disease, and now, the Osbourne family is grieving the loss of another family members.
On Instagram, Sharon Osbourne, the wife of the late rock star, shared several photos of herself, Ozzy, and their dog Elvis. She wrote in the caption, “I can’t believe I am posting this but my darling Elvis passed away this week. He gave me 14 precious year. He was by my side until the end. Rest in peace my darling boy!”
The couple’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne, shared her own tribute to Elvis on her Instagram page. She posted two photos of Elvis in bed and a short video where she’s holding Elvis.
In the caption on the post, she wrote, “It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that we lost Elvis this week. Our guardian angel has left us. Elvis did not leave my side since my dad passed. He helped get me through the darkest moment of my life. I keep trying to find a positive in all of this and the only thing I can come up with is that maybe my dad needed him. Life can be so cruel but also give you many treasures. We were so lucky to have Elvis for 14 years. Thank you for all the love Elvis you were one of a kind. I love you sleep well sweet prince until we meet again!”
Y! Entertainment reports that Elvis joined the Osbourne family five years after the family’s reality TV show, “The Osbournes” went off the air, but he had his time in the spotlight as well. He occasionally joined Sharon on the talk show “The Talk,” and he was frequently in pictures and videos shared in the family members’ social media pages.
