Following the d**th of famous rocker Ozzy yesterday, a peculiar element in the Osbourne family statement has drawn attention.
The former leader of Black Sabbath d**d on Tuesday, July 22, at the age of 76,’surrounded by affection’. He had only just performed with the band again last week in Birmingham for a charity show.
Despite first disclosing Parkinson’s disease in 2020, Ozzy had battled the illness for 22 years and had experienced a number of health problems in recent years. Earlier this year, it was claimed that he was unable to walk.
The rock singer sung from a black throne with his former bandmates during his recent show, which earned well over £1 million for charity and featured Jason Momoa. The crowd went wild for what would turn out to be his final performance.

Ozzy had a total of six children: Jack, Aimee, and Kelly with Sharon; two children, Louis and Jessica, with his first wife, Thelma Riley; and her son, Elliot Kingsley, whom he adopted.
Following the news of his death, the Osbourne family said in a statement on Tuesday: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.”
“He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”
It is well-known that Aimee and Kelly no longer speak to each other, with Kelly confirming on the Dax Shepard podcast – Armchair Expert in 2021, saying: “We don’t talk. We’re just really different.”
“She doesn’t understand me and I don’t understand her.”
Both, however, made the statement in spite of their clear differences, which has led some to question why Elliot and Jessica were left out entirely.
‘RIP Ozzy’ is the caption Jessica posted on Instagram as a public homage to her father, albeit it is still unclear why they were left out.
Since Elliot doesn’t have any public social media accounts, it’s unknown if he will honor his stepfather, who was adopted by Ozzy more than 50 years ago when he was about five years old.
However, after the family returned to the UK, near the birthplace of the Prince of Darkness in 1948, Sharon was able to assist in fulfilling Ozzy’s ‘last desire’ prior to his death.
Other big names in the world of music including Elton John, Bon Jovi, and Yungblud have paid tribute to Osbourne following his death, with the latter writing: “I am truly heartbroken. You were the greatest of all time.”
