Ohio Couple Gives Birth to “World’s Oldest Baby” — Frozen Embryo from 1994 Comes to Life

This weekend, a baby named Thaddeus entered the world in Ohio—and made history.

What makes his birth so groundbreaking? Thaddeus was born from an embryo that had been frozen for over 30 years. His life started in 1994, when a couple—Linda and her husband—created four embryos through IVF. One of those embryos became their daughter. The others remained frozen… until now.

Linda Archerd, now 62, never had the heart to discard them. “They deserve life just like my daughter,” she said. Her choice to keep them gave another family a miracle.

Ohio couple Tim and Linda Pierce adopted one of those frozen embryos, giving baby Thaddeus a chance at life—and breaking a record. Experts believe it may be the oldest frozen embryo to result in a successful birth.

It’s not just a medical marvel—it’s a story of life, love, and the legacy one decision can carry across decades.

So, next time someone says miracles don’t happen anymore… show them this.

What would you do if you had the chance to give life to something frozen in time?
