No matter how hard they try, their baby continues crying all day, prompting them to take a closer look at the crib.

A Shocking Homecoming
When Walter returned from work, the sharp cries of his infant son echoed through the house. He stepped inside, greeted by the overwhelming sound and a sense of unease.

Abby’s Desperation
In the kitchen, Abby sat at the table, her face a mix of exhaustion and frustration. “I’ve tried everything!” she sobbed.
“I fed him, changed him, burped him, bathed him—nothing helps! I even checked his temperature. I don’t know what else to do,” she added, breaking into tears.

Parenthood’s Challenges
Becoming parents just a month ago had completely upended their lives. Logan’s persistent cries left them feeling helpless and drained. Walter placed a reassuring hand on Abby’s shoulder. “We’ll figure it out together,” he said, gently leading her to Logan’s room.

The Terrifying Discovery
As Walter approached the crib, his reassuring demeanor changed instantly. He stared in disbelief. Instead of Logan, a dictaphone sat in the crib, playing a recording of their son’s cries. Beside it lay a note.

He silenced the device and froze as he read the chilling message:
“I warned you that you’d regret being rude to me. If you want to see your baby again, leave $200,000 in the storage lockers near the pier. If you go to the police, you’ll never see him again.”

Walter’s heart pounded. The nightmare was only beginning.
