Sugary fizzy drinks flood the bloodstream with simple sugars, damaging the delicate vessels that feed the brain. Equally troubling, margarine and deep‑fried favourites like French fries deliver trans and saturated fats that harm blood vessels and weaken the blood–brain barrier.
