Patricia Krentcil, known as “Tan Mom,” went viral in 2012 after being charged with child endangerment for allegedly taking her daughter to a tanning salon. Though never convicted, her extreme tanning habits made headlines.
“I’ve been tanning my whole life,” Krentcil admitted, averaging five visits a week at her peak. Her obsession nearly cost her her health.
Today, she takes a “healthier approach” but still tans regularly. Her years in the tanning booth have “greatly affected her life and appearance.” Despite the controversy, Krentcil remains in the spotlight.
