Melania Trump Missing From Service
The memorial for Charlie Kirk is being held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. While Donald Trump has landed in Arizona for the service, his wife Melania has not been seen.
Reports suggest the First Lady skipped the trip. On Sunday, September 21, photos captured the former president boarding Air Force One. However, Melania was absent both during boarding and upon arrival.
Social Media Sparks Questions
Her absence quickly fueled speculation online. One user posted a photo of Trump leaving the plane with the caption: “Melania Trump is definitely not on the trip to Arizona.” Others asked bluntly: “Is Melania Trump at Charlie Kirk’s service?” and “Looks like Melania’s not going to Charlie Kirk’s funeral.”
Trump’s Statement Before Departure
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump reflected on Kirk’s death.
“We’re going to celebrate the life of a great man today,” he said. “That something like this could have happened is not even believable. So we’ll have a very interesting day, very tough day. We want to look at it as a time of healing.”

Vance Pays Tribute
Vice President JD Vance also shared his thoughts on X.
“Last week, we brought my dear friend Charlie Kirk home one last time. Today, we return to Arizona to remember Charlie and honor his sacrifice. May he eternally rest in peace, and may God watch over Erika and their beautiful children.”
The Tragic Assassination
Kirk, the 31-year-old CEO of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot in the neck earlier this month while speaking at a Utah university event.
After a two-day manhunt, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson was arrested. He now faces seven charges, including aggravated murder, and could face the death penalty if convicted.
Graphic footage from the day shows Kirk clutching his neck after a single shot rang out. His assassination has deepened America’s divisions and sparked protests nationwide over political violence.
Memorial Draws Massive Crowd
Turning Point USA announced the service earlier this week, inviting the public to attend. The organization called Kirk “an American legend” whose life and legacy would be celebrated.
The memorial features speeches from Donald Trump, Vice President Vance, and Kirk’s widow, Erika. Tens of thousands filled the stadium, with security levels comparable to the Super Bowl. The 73,000-seat venue was placed under TSA-style restrictions to handle the large crowd.
