Mel Gibson shares sad truth after fire destroys his home

Mel Gibson, 69, lost his $14.5 million Malibu home to the Palisades fire while recording The Joe Rogan Experience in Austin. His girlfriend, Rosalind Ross, and their son Lars evacuated safely. Gibson criticized California Governor Gavin Newsom’s wildfire,

 

response and joked about, tax dollars spent on his “hair gel.” Though the fire destroyed personal items, Gibson was grateful his family was unharmed. Other celebrities, including Ed Harris, Paris Hilton, and Billy Crystal, were also affected by the fire.
