‘MasterChef’ Star And Influencer Passed Away At Age 38

Yanin Campos, a former MasterChef contestant and popular TikTok creator, has died after a serious car accident in Mexico. She was 38.

Campos was driving her SUV in her hometown of Chihuahua on Saturday when she reportedly lost control and crashed into a parked car, according to local news and the Daily Mail. Photos from the scene show her vehicle badly damaged.

She was taken to a nearby hospital but sadly passed away from her injuries two days later.

Her brother, Raúl Campo, confirmed the tragic news in a heartfelt social media post.

“To our family and friends, we inform you and mourn the passing of my sister, Yanin Campos,” he posted.

Although Yanin Campos finished in sixth place on MasterChef México in 2018, she was later invited back for MasterChef: La Revancha in 2019.

After her time on MasterChef México, Yanin Campos continued to evolve both personally and professionally. She often shared her love of food alongside moments from her daily life, giving fans a real look into who she was.

As reported by The Blast, Campos later launched an OnlyFans account, offering exclusive content for $7 a month. Instead of pushing people away, the move highlighted her bold personality and willingness to break stigmas and be herself—no matter the platform.

Campos also found success on TV as the host of La Tertulia, where her charm and energy kept her connected with local viewers. She stayed active in the culinary world, partnering with chef Raúl Linares on artisanal baking projects and working on menus for vegetarian and ovo-lacto vegetarian restaurants.

Yanin had gained a strong following on TikTok, with nearly 100,000 fans watching her cooking and lifestyle videos.

According to the Daily Mail, the fatal accident happened around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday on the Francisco R. Almada highway. Campos was driving a black GMC Terrain when she reportedly lost control and crashed into a parked car.

She was rushed to Hospital del Parque in critical condition and remained in the ICU until she sadly passed away on Monday night.

Local police have launched an investigation to find out what caused the crash.
