Loyal Dog Refuses To Let Go—Then Doctors Witness A Medical Miracle

While he and his dog were pursuing the culprits in the middle of the woods, Officer Cole Hunter was attacked and hit in the head.

He began to lose consciousness as he hit the ground.

His dog buddy, Rex, started running into the woods at that same moment. When he arrived, one of the criminals had a knife in his hand and was prepared to stab Cole Hunter, who was motionless on the ground.

Then, despite the fact that he was injured, Rex grasped the man’s arm under his elbow and wouldn’t let go.

After a while, the man released his grip and ran farther into the forest.

As Rex approached Cole Hunter, he heard sirens. During the pursuit, it was one of the other police vehicles.

The dog led two police officers to the fallen officer.

Sergeant Cole Hunter was brought to the hospital shortly after Rex stayed with one of the officers.

The following morning, Rex was waiting next to the officer’s car, eager to see his pal in the hospital.

Regretfully, Cole Hunter experienced internal haemorrhage as a result of a major skull fracture. When he went into a coma, things took a bad turn.

After being denied entry to the intensive care unit, Rex stayed outside the emergency facility until a police officer took him home.

Approximately three months later, Cole Hunter was still in a coma and was taken home with a nurse who gave him 24-hour care. Reno was also present. He found a safe place beside his human friend, and he never left.

But on a Thursday, something remarkable occurred. When Rex noticed something was wrong with Cole Hunter, he hurried to the room where the carer slept and began scratching at the door in the middle of the night.

Sensing that the dog was trying to teach her something, the nurse followed Rex.

Then she noticed Cole Hunter’s fingers moving.

With time, he began to get better. His condition was still quite precarious, but he was able to move again and began to speak.

One night when Cole Hunter woke up and wanted to go to the toilet, Reno always followed him. But the dog had a feeling that something was wrong.

Cole Hunter’s jaw stiffened and his eyes grew wide. Then, immobilised, he fell to the ground.

Rex scratched the caregiver’s door and sent out his loudest bark. As soon as he heard movements and sounds that meant the carer was awake, he rushed back to Cole Hunter, whose mouth was covered in a thin film of froth.

The carer turned him sideways, checked his pulse, and put a pillow under his head. She then called 911, and shortly after, emergency workers came to Cory’s house.

Cole Hunter was given CPR, but it seemed as though he had died. However, Rex would not accept that his friend was d3ad. Instead, he started to growl and bark, keeping the doctors away from Cole Hunter’s corpse.

The doctor asked that the dog be taken out of the house after Rex’s actions were reported to the authorities.

But a few minutes later, they heard coughing.

After all, Cole Hunter wasn’t dead.

The following day, Cole Hunter’s department sent a news release stating that doctors were shocked to witness the Lazarus effect in Cole Hunter, an inexplicable and extremely rare phenomenon when a person’s heart starts to beat again after CPR has been stopped.

When everyone else had given up, Rex stayed optimistic. This dog believed the officer was still there. Even the physicians couldn’t discover the spark of life that he sensed.
