A Marriage Full of Laughter
An elderly couple had spent 50 joyful years together. Their life was full of routines, laughter, and plenty of playful teasing.
Each morning, without fail, the husband would let out a loud fart as he climbed out of bed—always followed by his signature chuckle. His wife would shake her head and warn him, “One day, you’re going to fart your guts out.”
A Thanksgiving Prank
On Thanksgiving morning, while preparing the holiday meal, the wife had a mischievous idea. Grinning to herself, she scooped up some turkey innards and tiptoed into their bedroom.
Carefully, she tucked the slimy pieces into his underwear. Then she waited.
Chaos Unleashed
An hour later, the usual morning sound echoed through the house—his signature fart, followed by laughter. But this time, the laughter stopped. A panicked scream took its place. Then—ten minutes of total silence.
Trying not to laugh, she waited downstairs.
A Hilarious Confession
Finally, he appeared. Pale and shaken, he held up two dirty fingers. “Honey,” he said with a sigh, “I owe you an apology. You were right all these years—I finally farted my guts out.”
He paused, then added, “But don’t worry. By the grace of God and these two fingers, I shoved them all back in.”
Love and Laughter
Their love thrived on humor and mischief. Even the silliest moments became cherished memories. After 50 years, they knew one thing for sure: laughter was just as important as love.
And on that Thanksgiving morning, she gave them both.
