Jenna Bush Hager Reveals Her Thanksgiving Menu Bombshell: Including the Must-Make Dish Everyone Begs For

Jenna Bush Hager Teams Up with Rao’s for a Stress-Free Holiday

Holiday prep made simple
Today show co-host Jenna Bush Hager is gearing up for the holidays with a delicious twist. She’s partnering with Rao’s Homemade to make Thanksgiving Eve effortless—and tasty.

“Rao’s allows me to prepare an elevated meal in minutes,” she tells PEOPLE. “That way, I can focus on spending time with my husband and kids. The best part? Everyone thinks I’ve been slow-simmering it all afternoon because it tastes that fresh and rich!”

Pasta Night Is a Family Favorite

Bush Hager keeps the holidays stress-free with her family’s favorite: pasta. “There’s already so much to plan for Thanksgiving, so pasta night is a hit in our household,” she says.

Her go-to dishes include classic spaghetti with sauce, a rigatoni bake, and her signature meatballs with marinara. These favorites will star in her Ultimate Pasta Night on Thanksgiving Eve.

“I’ve loved Rao’s for years,” she adds. “Even with busy schedules, a meal made with Rao’s brings my family together. It’s all about quality time over just an authentic meal.” Quick, simple, and delicious—perfect for her three children.

Family Traditions and the Macy’s Parade

Bush Hager shares her life with husband Henry and their three children: daughters Mila, 12, and Poppy, 10, and son Hal, 7.

Although her Today colleagues host the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade each year, she admits she hasn’t yet watched it with her kids. “I’m still dying to take them—and I will! On Thanksgiving, we wake up, turn on the TV, lie by the fire, and watch the parade together.”

This year, the family might spot a special Rao’s float, known as The Pasta Knight, making its second appearance in the parade on November 27.

Keeping the Holiday Meal Simple

When it’s time to eat, Bush Hager sticks to the basics: good food and quality family time. She also adds a personal touch.

“Everyone usually brings something,” she says. “I’ll make my signature pumpkin pie or truffle mashed potatoes—but really, it’s a team effort. We do our best to enjoy every moment together.”
