After Tom Jones’ rise to fame in the 1960s, he received his own variety show, named This Is Tom Jones. Over its three-year run from 1969 to 1971, the show featured performances from Tom himself, alongside appearances from some of the biggest artists of the time, including the likes of Nancy Sinatra, Cher, and The Who. One appearance that we know our Music Man readers will not want to miss is when Janis Joplin and Tom Jones joined forces to perform together on the show.
