At first glance, these cupboards may seem impractical. They aren’t spacious enough for everyday items like plates or cups. So, what can you do with them?

Here are some effective ways to utilize those overhead cupboards:

• Infrequently Used Kitchen Gadgets
  These cupboards are perfect for storing kitchen gadgets you use occasionally, such as food processors, blenders, or waffle makers.
• Canned Goods and Baking Essentials
  Canned foods and long-lasting baking essentials can easily fit here. These items can stay out of sight until you need them.
• Cookbooks
  If you have cookbooks that tend to collect dust, consider storing them in the top compartment. It keeps them organized and accessible.
• Pantry Items and Spices
  Store pantry items or create a small spice rack to fit in these cupboards. This keeps your counters clear and your spices organized.
• Kitchen Towels
  Bulk kitchen towels, often purchased by my wife, can find a home up top, freeing up space elsewhere.
• Fine China
  Store special occasion dishes or cutlery above the fridge. This helps keep them out of reach of children.

Remember to exercise caution when accessing these cupboards. Use a sturdy stool or step ladder to retrieve items safely. Also, be mindful that the fridge’s heat can affect certain products stored above.
