Here’s What Rachael Ray Says

Rachael Ray Opens Up About Health Concerns

Last month, fans grew concerned after a video of Rachael Ray seemingly slurring her words went viral. Now, Ray has shared an update on her health.

Recovering from Injuries

In the debut of her podcast I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead, Ray explained she’s been healing from recent injuries she sustained doing household chores. “I’m a homemaker. I love chores and being in the kitchen,” Ray shared. “I enjoy working with my brain, but I really like physical work, too.”

She admitted to relishing physical tasks like carrying firewood, often in friendly competition with her husband, John. “I always think, ‘How many pieces of wood did John carry? Can I carry more?’ But I keep it to myself.”

Temporary Setback

Ray, 56, revealed that recent “bad falls” had put a pause on her usual physical activities, although she chose not to go into detail about the incidents or injuries.

Fan Concerns Sparked by Viral Video

In early September, Ray posted a video on Instagram where fans noticed part of her face drooping and a slight slur in her voice. Comments flooded in, with fans expressing concern and speculation.

However, Ray chose not to address the viral video directly. She offered a simple response, giving fans a glimpse of reassurance without delving into specifics.

Fans continue to send well-wishes, hoping for her full recovery.
