Bishop T.D. Jakes Experiences Health Emergency
Incident During Sermon
Bishop T.D. Jakes, a well-known Christian pastor and motivational speaker, faced a health emergency after his sermon this past weekend. Following the event, on Sunday, November 24, a statement via his social media confirmed that the 67-year-old bishop is stable and receiving medical care.
The Moment of Concern
During the live-streamed service at The Potter’s House of Dallas, Bishop Jakes paused in the middle of his sermon. He was seen sitting, wiping his forehead, and reflecting on the challenges of preaching, stating, “It’s giving back more than you gave.” Soon after, he appeared to experience convulsions, prompting onstage assistants to rush to his aid. The livestream was then cut off.
Church Statement
The church quickly addressed the situation, stating, “Bishop T.D. Jakes experienced a slight health incident and received immediate medical attention after delivering his powerful hour-long message. He is stable and under the care of medical professionals.”
