A Glamorous Entrance
George Clooney turned heads at the 78th Annual Tony Awards on June 8, 2025. He arrived at Radio City Music Hall in classic black-tie style, walking the red carpet hand-in-hand with his wife, Amal Clooney. Amal dazzled in an off-shoulder white gown adorned with delicate pearl beading, paired with sleek heels and a matching clutch.
Family Moments and Red Carpet Revelations
Although Clooney attended the event as a nominee for his Broadway debut, his charm extended beyond the stage. Speaking with E! News, the Ocean’s Twelve star shared a lighthearted peek into life with his eight-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander.
“They want to see Taylor Swift,” he said with a smile. “But when Robert De Niro visits, they just ask, ‘Who’s that?’ They don’t care.”
Still, the kids do have their favorites. “They love Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande,” Clooney added. “They’re counting down the days until Wicked: For Good.”

Gushing Over Amal
Clooney didn’t hold back when praising his wife. “I have this incredible partner,” he said. “She’s the bravest person I’ve ever met. I’m so proud of her, and the fact that she’s proud of me? I feel unbelievably lucky.”
A Broadway Milestone
George’s night was already momentous — and it only got better. He was nominated for Best Lead Actor in a Play for his role in Good Night, and Good Luck, a Broadway adaptation of his 2005 film. The play, which ran from March 12 through June 8, received five nominations total.
Just hours before the ceremony, Clooney took his final bow on stage. By the end of the evening, he was holding a Tony Award.
A Night to Remember
Between the award win, heartfelt moments with Amal, and candid family anecdotes, George Clooney’s night at the Tonys wasn’t just about recognition — it was about love, legacy, and living in the moment.
